I love the 1954 Toho Studios film Godzilla and this album is my attempt to pay tribute to it. Over the past year I've made some loud, glitchy, stompy-sounding tracks that just didn't have a home on any of the other albums I've worked on. I gathered them into their own project and work stalled out there. Organizing them around the plot of the film was the eureka moment I was looking for and the album almost wrote itself once that creative direction was decided.
