I steer a old mandolin into uncharted territory, using analog feedback from a Fairfield Meet Maude to transform traditional folk sounds into hallucinatory landscapes. This is where my acoustic roots and experimental electronic interests converge—I push the delay into self-oscillation, creating drones that transcend the recognizable sound of a mandolin. What emerges is both the earthy beauty of the instrument's wooden resonance and the barely contained ecstatic weirdness of the feedback.
