Meditations On Thra

"As the skies darkened on the third morning, a pitched wailing was heard to the west of the tower. Lands unaccustomed to stirring were awakened.

The heavens opened like a wound, and a light poured forth which was both beginning and end, death and rebirth, warning and hope. The beings of the plains gazed with pale eyes. Fear was in them.

The third body in the sky, a pale rose sun, wreathed in clouds like bruises. It was joined at its side by a smaller body, forever after known as The Stranger.

A cold silence fell upon the barren lands, and the world held its breath."
