Tinggi and Alchemy are ceremonial songs written to honour sacred brown bodies. Ceremony has always been a way to celebrate and love each other in public, a way to connect with ancestral resilience. May the sun kiss our bodies and warm water carry us to freedom.
A'isyiyah would like to honour their Batak and Jawa ancestors for their ever-present guidance.
