5/30 & 5/31: Greenpoint Open Studios

Hi there, folks! Greenpoint Open Studios is almost here, and I’ll be participating for the 4th (!?!?) year running. If you’re in the New York area, I’d love to see you!

Open studios, for those of you who’ve never been to one, is an event where artists in a specific area open up their studios to the general public. It’s always a great time filled with wonderful conversations, and it’s a unique opportunity to see artists in their workspaces and chat with them about their art. I LOVE going to them in other neighborhoods, and it’s one of my favorite weekends of the year.

I’m super fortunate to have a studio in a wonderful building filled with artists I admire as well, and some of my neighbors are the event organizers. SO much work goes into making the weekend a great one.

So! Please stop by if you’re around. Studios are gonna be open on Saturday and Sunday, 5/30 and 5/31, from 12 to 6. You can find my studio info at this link. I’ll also have a list of some of my favorite artists participating in the weekend if you’re looking for other places to check out!
