The main motif for the upcoming 7-album series. Best listened to all the way through from start to finish.

Hi - sorry to announce that music will be further delayed and let me explain why:

Mental health has been really rough given gestures vaguely at everything and some stuff with my personal life as well. Theoria I (Without Form and Void)’s sound is supposed to be more resplendent, awe-inducing, hopeful, mystical

It’s not music I want to write right now or feel compelled to write - when I try, it feels... futile. I found myself wishing I could skip over to album 5/6 in the series and thinking, “Man I wish could skip over to being able to write these albums.” Then I was thinking, “Why not?” “But it has to be in order and you have to finish the first album.”

“But why?”

So you know what - going to skip over to writing the 5th/6th albums, which will take longer, but it’s the music I feel compelled and want to write, which is fitting as a lot of the lyrics I’ve written for these albums tend to be about self-destruction, lamenting the current state of the world, hopelessness.

The plan was/is for album 5 (The Rhythm of a Dividing Pair) to be more death-doom/sludge (Coffinworm, Indian, Lord Mantis) and album 6 (Mithridatism) to be more angular/dissonant black/death (Imperial Triumphant, Ad Nauseam, Gorguts, Artificial Brain except not as good or talented as any of them)
But I’m really proud of a lot of the progress Without Form and Void has shown, despite not being finished just yet. And it will 100% be done, just not now.

It might be a juvenile move to just do what I want to do, but I feel this is the right decision for me to do and to make music that I can say I put 1000% in.

Despite that, I wanted to release the main motif of the 7-album series that I’m so proud of and good buddies Chara Kai-Le (www.instagram.com/charakaile), Carol Mak (Kayee - www.instagram.com/camakayee), and Rob Lowman (Bitter Breath - www.instagram.com/rob_lowman / www.instagram.com/bitter_breath) contributed their talents so enormously.

Hopefully that motif gives some context as the albums release, however weirdly out of order, and a bit of proof that I’m still cooking - just super slowly.

Thanks all, hope you understand. And be safe, and if you’d like to talk and lament, just let me know. Hopefully The Rhythm of a Dividing Pair and Mithridatism is something I can be proud of.
