September Updates
The busy end of summer/early fall schedule for the entire Death Sculpted staff has proven tiring, yet fruitful. Personal and musical growth across the board, here’s what the staff has been working on.
RELEASES
Tapes for Dumal’s remarkable third full length record, The Trials of Existence, have been sent to production. Due to busy work and personal schedules, these won’t be shipping until late fall. The packaging alone is well worth the wait, and the music is sure to stand out amongst its USBM peers. Pre orders are still open and available for those who are inclined here at our Ampwall page.

RITUALS
There are two shows remaining for 2026, one is yet to be announced.
Next up, a VERY special appearance from legendary Chicago Doom Metal stalwarts November’s Doom (their Philadelphia debut) with support from a who’s who of local metal contemporaries, including the return of Witching (featuring a fresh new lineup), Ecliptor (members of Baroness, Necrosexual, etc) and the post/doom behemoth known as Oktas. Our closest artistic ally Yamasden created a special piece of art used for a limited print poster, which will be for sale the day of show (limted to 20, grab one here).

STAFF ACTIVITY
On top of the label and live ritual schedule, the Death Sculpted staff team is entering a busy season with personal music endeavors.
Shunt is gearing up for their debut full length Mesenteric Torsion. To celebrate their brand of hyper brutal and chaotic Grindcore, they will be headlining an album release party at Cousin Danny’s in Philadelphia on 10/23. Appearances this past year at Northwest Speedfest and Barely Breathing allowed the 4 piece Grindcore bruisers to flex their foulest muscles.

Shunt’s debut full length Mesenteric Torsion, due out on 10/23. Album release show set for 10/23 at Cousin Danny’s in Philadelphia. Contact the band for more info.
The Ageless, Godless veterans of Philadelphia metal of death, Blasphemous, just wrapped up a 4 day weekender in the PA/NJ/DC area, sharing the stage with household area names such as Slaughtersun and The Munsens, as well as linking a few dates with Idaho based “castle metal” legion Weald and Woe. The band is poised to strike next at the Heart of Winter Festival in Richmond, VA on 01/16/2027, which will act as a kickoff for a busy year of supporting their new music, set to be released later in 2027. Tickets for Heart of Winter can be found here. The ultra-curated lineup features acts such as Inferno, Necrofier, Impure, Final Gasp, Imperialist, Trhä, Saidan, and many, many others.

September northeast routing for Blasphemous.
Death/Punk freaks in FuckTomb are prepared to release a new full length, which is in the mastering stage. Coming off of select appearances in 2025 and 2026, Philly Black Metal quartet Profligate is writing a full length yet to be recorded.
Needless to say, the Death Sculpted legion remains strong and unwavering in their commitment to the craft of underground extreme metal.
More to come in 2027, including at least 1-2 label releases, new music from the staff’s projects and more live rituals in Philadelphia.
