Formed out of a fortunute meeting in Eindhoven the Netherlands. the entity that is Dodentocht started rehearsing citing influence from bands like Dystopia Conan Noothgrush and DOWN. in a short timespan they wrote and recorded their debut single "Cogs Of Existence" (13-01-2023) and short thereafter their sophomore single "Confused Ideals" (28-02-2023) releasing them independently. Following these releases Dodentocht played numerous live shows through the Netherlands playing major city's like Amsterdam (NL), Bern (CH), Brussels (BE), Emden (GE). Their live show being energetic but grim focusing on intense delivery.

Unapologetic lyrics about misantrophy, nihilism, self loathing and everything dark. They write with a self diagnosis on what sludge and deathdoom means to them. their self titled first ep was released on the 31st of October.
