Lament of the Dryads
Eveale
The ancient oak stands tall, Boughs twisted and broken, A partnership since time began, Respectful, Deep, Unspoken, Deep underground, Winding, dense and intertwined, Root and mycelial network, Conspire to give each other life, The Fruiting Body, Spores unleashed, The Dryads sing their song, A lament for the decaying world, But hope for birth to come, The last leaf falls, Above the ground, All looks lost, Yet beneath the surface, The dance continues evermore, Until the Earth is burned.

The Enemy
Eveale
Deep in my heart There is darkness that eats away at me I try to cope To have hope But it’s hard when the evil is plain to see Take them down Break the crown Make them pay Take the corrupt and their power away By my sword Rule no more Feel my steel I can’t believe that this torment is real This is the power I hold in my hand I will remain invincible Cleansing the evil all throughout the land There will be no surrender for me Deep in my heart There is darkness that eats away at me I try to cope To have hope But it’s hard when the evil is plain to see All of this is in my own head Slay the demons or end up dead I can see them coming home I can feel it in my bones I must confront this reality No more living in this fantasy Face the real enemy The man there staring back at me No more escapology It’s me It’s me All this time I couldn’t see The real enemy here is me So I set him free To be Who I was meant to be I am free
