"The aptly named ‘hot point’ really does sound like something cooked up by the Radiophonic Workshop in response to a request for sounds from inside a tumble dryer though what exactly lurks in the recesses of the sealed drum is anyone’s guess though we’d hazard a wager that various Play Dead / Front 242 and Einsturzende Neubauten types are locked in mortal combat pitting their combined wits against the towering might of BBC Maida Vale’s mysterious Wobbulator."
