Half-life Art

The spray paint can cover for Ubik is a classic so I wasn’t trying to reinvent the wheel here. I took a picture of a pray paint can. DONE.

The back cover art I spent way too much time on for a thing no one sees so that’s why I’m posting it here. I set up an elaborate scene on the floor of my apartment with cups of water for the cryonic chambers. I needed to black out the top and background so I used two black vinyl records to frame it up. That’s De Ja Vu by CSNY for the top and the back was my pet hair covered CD storage cabinet. The blue hue to block the back of the cups was the insert for Brothers in Arms by the Dire Straits. I didnt need to do this. haha. I ended up editing it into near oblivion anyway.
