Behind the Song: Full Circle
I wanted to chat a little bit about this song as I feel it is probably the best example of what my sound has always been about — acoustic rock with an edge. There’s something raw and grounded in that opening riff as it continues to intensify.
There's a neat touch of gothic atmosphere that’s always pulled me in creatively and I really wanted to capture that with this song.
I first wrote the song back in 2014 and finally finished it in 2019. It became a reminder that every idea has its own timeline. Sometimes it takes years to find the right shape, but when it does — it comes full circle.
I'm offering this song as a free download for a little while for those of you who haven't heard the song.
