Our homage to the one true Emperor.
In celebration of the third anniversary of Korpituli Productions we release a cover song we made with Korpituli for a coming Emperor Tribute album (A Fine Day to Die Records).
"In Longing Spirit" is a standout track in the Emperor catalogue - dark, doomy, chaotic, epic and unlike anything else they released in their creation and times. No wonder they originally didn't include it on the Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk album but on the Reverence EP. To me it always reminded of Stonehenge by Spinal Tap but with a serious twist.
This song immediately came to my mind when we were asked to participate on this Tribute album and we are proud to present to you our vision of this magnificent piece or dark art.
