Adrift
Light Being
Deprive the poor of their change Setting traps to make them think they've found a meal No tools nor might could pry these coins Nor prayers reverse thy sin I lay back so high believing the magic ball between my hands is real Adrift above the lines East to west I stopped before a snow-covered road Seek the Elder's advice A trumpet to the face couldn't wake his soul Riding on avoiding peril Unsure of this sanctuary Halls of ice resound my lies Exile me from my own mind I'll live to see my brothers on the road again

Inverted
Light Being
Sleep inverted by the shrine Meditate before the sky Unlocking visual truths That lie within the fabric we're bundled within Binary lights giving off waves Radiating inner peace, already there Self-evident cosmic revelation to upright oneself Walk among the wild, all eyes open Continue the journey enlightened At the vortex inverted These are my brethren One by my side One climbing the mesa Return to the vessel Vision restored As we rove on through the vortex, (onward, to my journey's end) Tail not between legs Howling, still

Hologram
Light Being
Let me describe for you this dimension in which we all live yet few have seen Past lives and deaths converge to a point and form a crook figure The sun's radiation has dissolved our skin Flesh melts, reeks, lungs and larynx charred Shouting in fear erodes integrity and compounds hysteria Reinstate the hologram, Reinstate the hologram It sounds as painful as it feels - ultraviolet shields are a necessity Submit to the hands of the new world's minions, reinstate the hologram They feed upon your very thoughts Consciousness fades without sustenance Clinging on to what little there is to know safely

Shadows
Light Being
Woke up with the wolves at my throat again I thought they'd gone away Lift eyelids, confrontation they disperse And watch me from afar Watching the clock, fighting to stay awake My sanity at stake Is this real? The howling beckons me To meet my fate Beating the skin, a shamanic drum in perfect time all night So they retreat Defend my home from these form-shifting shadows Woke up with the wolves at my throat again They've found a way into my dreams Pacing in my room Smell and taste the fear Not giving in, fight them off 'til my last breath

Between
Light Being
Like the leaves floating down river seem to wander, but they're void of life Once green and absorbant, now of a life but not their own Motion eternal Enduring purity Outliving providence No minding consequence I see not through, but between Depriving oneself of all but Essence An essence so strong the mind becomes lost within I see not through, but between

Downpour
Light Being
Here we are, standing in the downpour Here we are, standing in the rain Been here 40 days now, left to die Wondering why you caused me so much pain Always wondering why you left me Why did it turn out to be this way Now I'm in this off-white room so terrified Unable to reason of my own brain They say I'm to become a different person Said that I must give up my wilder ways Nature's green's not seen this pair of eyes, pair of eyes From this off-white city view in 40 days Honest delusion, unreal, confusion

D'wel
Light Being
Be well, I will Take a second to think of me Be well, a pill What the fuck you would think I'd think An automatic response, attack my brain? "Be well" Give a poor man a rich man's drug ? "Be well"

Petrous
Light Being
The sum of my yearning erupting, igneous, takes petrous form Before resting on a precipice By no accord to nourish myself The benefits of rest beyond my will to chase Marked by oblivion, I witness many a sun In stillness, in permanence Cleanliness I denounce Volition allowing, I remain In stillness, in permanence And realize your likeness

June 29, 2026: A Way Into Dreams turns 5 this year. I’m pleased to share this music here at Ampwall. Thanks for your continued support as we continue making plans for special concert performances, new merch on the official Light Being website, and new music releases sooner than later.

The following is copy, with some slight edits, from the initial date and site of publication whose name we utter not, here at Ampwall!)

The 2016 [. . .] self titled full length re-recorded. All synths and loops that appeared before have been reimagined in the form of real recorded instrumental performances.

Tuned percussion instruments, and live performance MIDI controllers, and electric drum performances express with a greater sense of tonality and variance. An elk skin medicine drum taps a meditative journey at an almost sub-audible level, giving body to the already dynamic experience throughout the entirety of the album. String sections on D'wel and Petrous are performed by Kakophonix [that is, C.E. Brown, of Opus Et Sanare].

Guitars and bass are rerecorded since the original. Some of these parts are reimagined and played with greater expression and confidence, as I had years to pick up on rhythmic and melodic nuances that I felt important to highlight.

I've also included lyrics this time around, as it seems more important than ever to openly discuss the theme and inspiration of this album being my personal struggles with mental illness. Destigmatizing the subject in a way to allow for safe discussions in a spirit of acceptance seems the first step in any personal mental wellness journey. I hope to inspire healing with this album. The vocals before were merely a throat-grinding whisper with added distortion and reverb, but in the new style I am heard shouting as loud as possible, all up front and hiding nothing with mastering effects.

As far as I'm concerned, the 2016 version is fine [as] songwriting-phase pre-production, but A Way Into Dreams is the way the songs always sounded in my imagination all these years and I'm glad to share this as the final form with you. Thank you for believing in me since 2016 and even before.
