MAAR
I never go to the sea anymore I never go to the sea People ask too many questions How do you feel now? Do you weep for joy? I lost myself in the stream of us I lost myself in the stream Good - good but forgettable Good but forgotten Goo but gone Don’t let the wave take you under, they say Don’t let the wave take you under It didn’t break anything at first It didn’t break anything It came without a warning A sting in my gut I could not ignore Don’t let the wave take you under, they say Don’t let the wave take you under Could I be the wave?

Seismic is your anti-summer anthem - a haunting, contemporary folk ballad for anyone who’s ever stared at the crashing waves and wondered, “Is there more than this?”. Acoustic guitar fingerpicking, mandolin, and vocal harmonies by Icelandic singer-songwriter Ösp Eldjárn & Helga Ragnars and London-based Italian Valeria Pozzo draw you in like sirens at sea. But MAAR’s sirens soothe, not sink. They whisper: don’t let the wave pull you under.
