IMPROVISATIONS FROM THE SOLAR SYSTEM (AND OTHER SOLO PIECES) is Malo Moray's debut album: Omnious dark experimental ambient album recorded during a deep phase of depression in 2020. In this metaphorical journey through outer space, Malo Moray contemplates depression and the human existence within the unimaginable depths of the cosmos - feeling as lost and indifferent as in awe and fulfilled by the beauty of nature's creation. Lead by his virtuos playing of the upright bass through live electronics accompanied by self designed ambient instruments, tapes, loops and his voice Malo Moray releases a challenging and beautiful immersive 45 minutes of improvised music deeply connected to avant garde works from artists such as William Basinski, Sunn O))), Swans and Brian Eno.
