Digital Negative "Collected Assets" CD

Collected Assets features the complete discography of Digital Negative, encompassing the three EPs the group released from 2021 to 2025, plus two live tracks recorded in Washington, D.C. and a new song exclusive to the collection, recorded in 2026. With 18 total tracks, Collected Assets is a must for any fan of the band and any follower of the works of Richard Johnson and Person918x. The live tracks and new song continue to showcase the dystopian, glitched-out, sample-heavy noise, electronics, and industrial sounds the band employs and is known for.

Speaking about the new track entitled “Outgroup,” Person918x says the song “uses a variety of sample sources, including a field recording of a metal grate reverberating in a stairwell that functions as a bass and a swarm of drones that functions as a synth.”
