A caustic blast from Belk and Casing.

Drenched in chemicals and still lurching forward with sinister purpose, Belk and Casing serve up four slabs of charred punk/sludge/hardcore, abrading away any specific genre definition with noise and ill will.

Bludgeoning riffage comes at you from both sides of this split, with an emphasis on the percussive force of that descriptor. Rhythmic pummelling and inhuman vocals allow no room for release or escape as Belk pursue you through the scrap and a brief respite of ominous electronics from Casing serves only to build tension before they erupt at you with feral fanatical zeal. What little tonality there is here is rooted in force and dissonance and used toward maximal physical impact. Everything is pitch black and cloying and even sections not fizzing with noise still feel like they are full of grit.
