Retrofit is a post-post-grunge band consisting of three long-time friends from the Philadelphia area. The band started playing together in the early 2010s improvising joke songs in a band member's apartment. After some big life events, a few moves, and a pandemic, they decided to get back together to make more serious music and formed Retrofit. Their music draws inspiration from some of the band's favorite artists of the grunge, post-grunge, alternative rock, and post-rock scenes of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
