Official reissue on tape and digital format, authorized by the band.

Nearing its 30th anniversary, we are delighted to reissue another gem from the past. This time, we have dedicated countless hours to Furthest Shore's album "Chronicles of Hethenesse Book 1: The Shadow Descends" - a majestic piece of true heathen art from Hexenmeister and Nattasett of Darkwoods My Betrothed fame. Originally released in 1998 to a small but devoted fanbase, the album has since achieved cult status in the underground scene.

If you enjoy Nattasett's clean singing in Darkwoods My Betrothed and their epic tracks like "Uller", "Autumn Roars Thunder", "Hymn of the Darkwoods", or the phenomenal "Red Sky Over the Land of Fells", then this is for you! The album is a tribute to Quorthon and Bathory, as stated in the booklet. Notably, just like on Darkwoods My Betrothed's albums, Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish played keyboards on Furthest Shore as well. If you haven't heard of the band before or don't yet own this record in any form, now is your chance - grasp it with both hands and let this masterpiece carry you to the Land of Hethenesse!
