Holy artifact of my former innocence Making contact with my innermost sins Breaching atmospheric heights of regret Here, I oppose myself Holy consequence of my suffering I was a victim to your violence I didn’t know how to handle it I’m still haunted by the memories Should I still be sorry? Have you forgiven me? Will it ever be okay? I ask time to heal me

I wish you a happy life Full of love and light I wish you stability And to be stress-free As much as you can be You hurt me You enabled me I took you for granted I chose the family I chose the The meaning I felt when I pressed record And since you’ll never hear this: I still feel better here than I did with you Even if I’m colder at night

Here we have the second album I've concocted for this project, this time, with a distinctly different approach. Whereas the first album was a vehicle for a story I wanted to tell, this album was a challenge to myself, musically, and compositionally. I've written shorter songs up until this point, but I wanted to figure out how I could make interesting noise in longer doses.

I enlisted the help of my longtime friend and bandmate, Thomas Greene, to help me create some of the sounds on this record. He is responsible for patches on "Solipscissors" and "Obliterate." Thank you, Thomas.

I included some spur-of-the-moment acoustic tracks to break up the longer sections of noise on the album. These give the album more of a bipolar quality, but serve to cleanse the palate at regular intervals. They are personal songs, with depressive and reminiscent vibes. One thing I love about this project, and about noise, is that I can do whatever I want with it. I can utilize all of my artistic skills.

Noise is everything. I am so glad I've found this genre. So glad I've explored what it's like to make it myself. Always remember that there are no rules.
