To Breathe Again
Panic Attack Verse 1: I just felt my brain click Falling apart in public Want to leave but want to stay I was dying to be here anyway Too many people, so much noise But wasn’t that always the point To drown out the monsters with my tears How the hell did they find me here? Pre: I need a place where The silence Drowns out all the Horrors and the violence Chorus: I’m just trying to get home The only place I can go Where no one can see the fact That my face is a mask that’s about to crack I’m just trying to get home To let it out and unfold Everything that’s inside of me So I can rediscover my clarity Verse 2: Have you ever had to watch yourself do a menial task Like driving home without going to fast Your safe place didn’t feel right today And you don’t know what made you feel this way You don’t feel right behind the wheel But only you can sort your feelings Yes you’re manic; you’ve established that The too familiar feeling of a Panic Attack Pre: Tried coming back From the deep end Only to get Knocked back down again Chorus: I’m just trying to get home The only place I can go Where no one can see the fact That my face is a mask that’s about to crack I’m just trying to get home To let it out and unfold Everything that’s inside of me So I can rediscover my clarity Bridge: Just keep moving forward Both hands on the wheel No need to fret cuz it’s Not a big deal Just a couple more lights You know where to go There’s need to rush Cuz you’re already home Outro: I’m just trying to get home I’m just trying to get home I’m just trying to get home Get home I’m just trying to get home I’m just trying to get home I’m just trying to get home Get home b (continues) I’m just trying to get home The only place I can go Where no one can see the fact That my face is a mask that’s about to crack I’m just trying to get home To let it out and unfold Everything that’s inside of me So I can rediscover my clarity Just keep moving forward Both hands on the wheel No need to fret cuz it’s Not a big deal Just a couple more lights You know where to go There’s need to rush Cuz you’re already home

“This song was written about a very real and harrowing panic attack at the happiest place i know on earth...the rock show.

When I got home, I turned my car off and wrote the first draft of the entire song. I am so extremely proud of this song and the work we all put into making this one truly special.

My hope is that this song will resonate with everyone... even the ones leaving hateful comments on our content.”
