US Shipping

On 29th August, new tariffs apply to goods imported into the USA.

Vinyl records are, for now, exempt. However, this may change.

The biggest challenge for anyone sending items to the US is finding a carrier willing to do so! At the time of writing, Royal Mail (the UK’s cheapest shipping option) has removed the ability to send parcels to the US, despite them reaching a deal only a few days before that would see £0.50 added to every sale. However, freight forwarders are continuing to offer a solution, but it comes at an increased cost. About 30% of all my sales to date are to the US. I will continue to ship there while I can, however I have had to increase costs to what I consider to be quite ridiculous amounts to cover the extra costs.

UPDATE: Latest update 9/3/25 Royal Mail is allowing parcels to the USA again, but you'll need to add a phone number. Vinyl is now exempt from tariffs, however there is still a £0.50 fee for them telling you it’s exempt. Based on a quick check, it looks like vinyl will attract fees of £3.50. If sent as a gift, it's just the 50p Royal Mail fee.
