We Walk The Earth entered the Lights And Lines #AlbumWritingClub in May 2022 with 2 completed but unreleased albums ready to go and some ideas for another. Fast forward a month and The Ice Storm was written, recorded, complete and voted Best Album, beating more than 50 other entrants.
Born out of personal tragedy, London based We Walk The Earth began as a genre-project, initially intent on experimenting with guitar arrangements and an alt-country vibe, before quickly moving beyond that into an expansive alt-rock/psychedelic blues sound.
With The Ice Storm, you have is a dynamic mix of genres and styles tied together through the songwriting, instrumentation, and dark tones. It's broad - yet it comes together as a coherent whole.
This remaster serves to improve an album that, due to the nature of its creation, had been mixed in 3 days. A remix and full remaster (including provision for a vinyl version) adds to the depth and dynamic range of the album, and offers an enhanced experience for the listener.
