Beneath the stagnant earth rotting away Bound by endless darkness Shrouded in fetid decay A stirring pulse coursing through shriveled veins Below the curtain of night A spark of light igniting A gasp of breath escapes Exhale the stench of life again Possessed by fervent madness Cracked open splintered casket clawing through the earth in vain Crawl among the filth that plagues this mortal plane These twisted limbs convulsing Outstretched to snuff the flame inside Purveyor of this world’s demise Contorted form of flesh and bone Cold skin like ashen stone Abhorrent mass of festering spite The jaws of death now open wide Even the sanctified ground can’t contain The dead and the living are they not the same Slow putrefaction destined for the grave Revulsion inciting This yearning everlasting To bring them all to their weakened knees To cleanse this world of inhumanity In contempt of their wasted lives Obsession surmounting Through the sodden depths of murk I rise Drag them down to the deepest black With gaping maw engulfing Shut the lid and scribe their epitaph These twisted limbs convulsing Outstretched to snuff the flame inside Purveyor of this world’s demise
