Analog Assay is a 7-track LP featuring a deep dive into legendary synthesizers and classic effects units from throughout the history of electronic instruments. Characteristic of Afturmath’s music, these tools are used to create huge spaces, lush washes across the frequency spectrum, and intricate nuances of timbre and timing to distract from otherwise repetitive structures.
