The Final Void finds YOTUMA leveling up in every direction. From the opening pummel to the final fadeout, it’s clear this isn’t just a collection of songs—it’s a fully realized statement from a band who have sharpened their identity through relentless DIY work ethic, road-tested ferocity, and a newfound collaborative focus.
My face must have looked like a YouTube reaction channel because of the number of times the band’s choices surprised and impressed me.
While YOTUMA revel in pure, unbridled death metal it’s all done at a high level of quality that will stick with you without ever compromising on heaviness. The Final Void is loaded with monstrous grooves and brutal vocals, but it’s an easy listen to just unload some anger with and enjoy. It’s a solid entry for those who want an album that’s going to be brutal from start to finish, but never gets boring.
