Clactonian

Founded in 2023 between Finland and Italy, CLACTONIAN aim to blend the early days of black metal with an aggressive bestial/war metal approach. Their band name comes from the Clactonian, an industry of flint tool manufacture that dates to the Lower Paleolithic (c. 424,000 - c. 400,000 BP). Lyrical themes deal with primitive life and prehistoric rituals, thus the band dub their style as "paleolithic black metal of death".
