In A Language They Understand
DAMIM
It’s been a while since the flint of entropy ignited the simian mind, With dreams of power and distrust – only death is real! With a world set back centuries and wolves at the door; When there is no room for new ideas – only death is real! Only death is real! Forcing distasteful convictions, A narrative by blackmail and coercion. Rejecting the facts: unholy zeal Repulsed by the acts: religious, secular Gaze into the void – inaccessible… Beyond transfinite ordinal… Deep into the world of the unfathomable… Comrades embrace, saluting the martyr, Ignore the pungent reminder That no deconstruction or contrition will spare the blind Let those with eyes to see. For the souls that inhabit the air, And bodies cast into the ground: Consumed to the world – your disharmony is mine! Within your heart of bronze the absence of mercy. Go forth: create a world unlike any. Change the course of existence, Remake the image of man!

Descendant Of Amalek
DAMIM
I hope you never find peace I wish you'd never been born Abject being Grotesque mind existing to uphold Abhorrent simian traits perverse Joy through another's pain Self-appointed God Without compass to steer this ship of fools In a spiral drown Down to the adoration of what must be excised Execrated seams to venerate Will you choose to Evolve Or suffer your human tragedy The time will come to pass When I shall wish a death upon innocents And neglect the ones who love me Why am I afraid to long for nothing else You Too can join me Embrace - be free from the shackles of empathy Candid frames of narcissism stick Narcissus sick, narcissus sick - you make me wretch Enamoured with evil psychology Nothing can save you From your own cold dead heart Drink deep from the well of bitterness

Beyond The Call Of Emptiness
DAMIM
I don’t want to wake in this world Purpose won’t exist in a world without hope Alone Lost the answer to reason. Acknowledge – inherit the throe, Imbue my connection, Detach… now a part of you, Turn and examine This war is fought within. Loss the wages of living; Entropic, occulting the grief: A grotesque and sentient Demonic a spirit entrenched. Yearning beyond! Refuse to placate the demiurge Reject suffering, hereby undo what cannot be I felt the world change. Held as prisoners In this uncompromising world Face mortality Primeval sins cannot exist alone Rage and solitude Drown out the cries of those below Green with sentience Consuming fever lies within your world Acknowledge… regret… examine… Wrath and innocence Collide in this conflicting world Chaos of parallels Construct a fate you cannot seek to end. Yearning beyond! The lord gives so that the lord may take it all away. Doctrine of suffering - Relinquish the world that was not.

Something For The Weakened
DAMIM
The filth and fury will weaken no longer - Pervasive mistrust Transcend the dormant seeds of a negative realm When convictions are no longer enough to feel alive False notions only time and rot can heal Like doubt in the predator's mire Objects of affliction, futile tenuous threats form, distort and uninform Flayed and dissected - concourse the alien mind Worn by invective - murder of the inner child Slaves of desperation - in deed or unvirtue Every human provided with wounds open to close Unchain the vision: beast as machine A sense of purpose, a wanting returning - unbound by disgust The scars in trauma inflamed a sickness infecting you now Pride resurrected - all thoughts are murder in hell Apocalyptic - searching their gaze for a sign Have you ever wondered what cataclysmic ordeals The everlasting vortex has yet in store for you Divine seclusion eerie relics remain But with illusion confront these fears

Body Is Broken
DAMIM
On your way out So many years Where the seams will fit Never let go of Regret Again Rising above, strangle and hold Nothing else to fear What have we done with our lives What's a name in throwaway Melt through flesh and bone Grotesque simian Angered, enraged, derange Deconstructed nightmares once created Metaphysical form Resentment once more sense turn polymorphs Take on physical form Angered, enraged, derange Angered, enraged, derange This constructed night here uncreated Meet thy physical form Resent meant one more spare burnt polymorph Make our physical form Angered, enraged, derange Angered, enraged, derange Rising above... nobody here Nothing to be done... on your way out of here What will you do when your body is broken What will you do when your body is broken We answer for what we do to each other For what we do What will you do when your body is broken What will you do when your body is broken We answer for what we do to each other To ourselves

This is the key Stare deranged in wonder Eschatological technology Delusions of control The arms race has already begun Only fools and horsemen stop at nothing I remember when the angel persuaded By a failure to grasp the present Woven intertwined The next epoch comes into being At the boundary of ethics and reason No ghost inhabits this machine Artificial subconscious Unmade in the image of hope Transfixed by a new credible projection By the flames that might consume us Simian infants toy with a new alchemy Let me ask why A civilisation in regression Lucid illusions begin to coalesce Nihilistic simulacrum of progress Commit this misery to flames Sunrise of a new dawn Rebirth through cataclysmic devastation With the blood of innocents the worlds will speak Fractal swarms iterate death and rebirth Inexorable The continuum speaks in deeds we cannot understand Broken visions and nightmares annihilated In one fell self-organized Clean sweep In the shadows Sinister manoeuvres Cataclysms advance Lifeless - the Turing line blurs Prophetic The ape dabbles in reason And veils - fails into view We worship now A soldier in every foxhole Becomes humanity The enemy makes you in the end

All I Want To Know Is How It Ends
DAMIM
Lost sight of any tunnel Light my fire with darkness Shadow caste Gilt with tears Absurd distinction Between beauty & repulsion Melting their flesh like sand and wax Returned to dust Devouring as this portal grew Nightmares fire the imagination Mysterious force injects the herd Into the bowels of our beasts Only now the gate Starved and animate Consumed with hellish winds And fire Teeth, lungs and heart You took me into you All blue is black no life is pure Desensitising viral parasitic form Investing its host dependent semiotic Obscene transcendence fixated with violence Control the extrusion explains away the acts In the name of a hateful litany Indifferent to the toils Of those I feel should know But cruel this nature is not Unflinching, unfeeling Dispassionate, deaf To the visceral murmur Finite and fractal When it comes And still with anger as I think about you in death every day The absurd and grotesque – the abject order of existence My stomach churning and every turn of wheels of my disgust Sometimes I’m at peace with the terror, The hand of entropy we are promised Now do you say as your every very slowly being Returns to the aether from whence it came How did you think this would be? What did you expect of me?

Building on the strength of 2007’s The Difference Engine, London purveyors of cathartic existential outrage Damim (feat Nathanael Underwood, ex-Akercocke) are set to unleash their new album, titled “A FINE GAME OF NIL”.
Mixed by Neil Kernon (Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Judas Priest, Nevermore...), "A FINE GAME OF NIL" will see digital, vinyl & CD release via Apocalyptic Witchcraft Recordings worldwide, this 28 June 2019.
Visceral and intense, “A FINE GAME OF NIL” harnesses the transcendent dynamics of conviction and authenticity & draws on a deep understanding of Damim’s heritage to create an altogether pioneering, twisted metal sculpture.
