As the new dawn slowly arises a beauteous grand presence birds sing their hungry praises echoing in the sky and warming sun the day of work and curt rumors and forging of legendary steel tales of the battles lost and won and the glory of heroes real the mighty Elven realm of Gondolin embraced by the stout mountains caressed by the loving breeze blessed by the deep forests the mists of the lush valleys blanket the somberlain graves shroud the villages at rest and carry the whispers unease a mighty kingdom standing tall one with the land and fauna calm murmers within the hall the dancing beyond by the flora the hearths begin to flame and warm as the light fades away beyond mountainous peaks the guardians ever-watchful against the harm the mists bed to the forest floor and in the cradle of the valley the archers stand their guard and the king writes his orders the whispers among the mountains visage of blood in the fountains a coming war of the ages spoken a trembling of cracking stones the whispers among the mountains
