With 'Intersubjective [Redux]', Paul Seidel's solo project, FERN expands the haunting narrative of his debut album 'Intersubjective'. This additional release includes two yet-unreleased songs and five striking remixes, featuring contributions from Arms and Sleepers, Turtle, and a trio of outstanding artists from Berlin's vibrant music scene: Deckert, Quarterpoundrrr, and Blcksmth.
With the precision and determination of a scientist, FERN delivers a compelling commentary on our digitized reality. The result is a surreal soundscape that's both personal and intimate, and at times feels like an intrusion into a vivid yet uncanny reality. German Visions Magazine described heavyweight halftime tracks like 'Simulacrum' and 'Hyperreal' as „a force strong enough to make even Trent Reznor blush,“ serving as a testament to FERN's unique sound design.
'Intersubjective [Redux]' extends this musical discourse further. Alongside the digital release, there will be two limited-edition cassette tapes: the 'Transparent Self' edition and the 'Bloodred' edition, bringing a tangible touch to FERN's exploration of our digital existence.
Deepening the dialogue between FERN and the audience, 'Intersubjective [Redux]' is an invitation to delve further into the surreal, dreamlike world that FERN has created. As FERN continues to question and push the boundaries of our increasingly digital world, we eagerly anticipate where this exploration will lead us next.
