FERN
Tides and waves and the shallowness climb up our feet How did it end up so low? Any sound advice just bounds off of me. Fear and concern in this dull surrounding i seek, while they stare, you drown on your own. And the fire sears our skins, when i say: Fool me, show love, hold it low. Break out, don’t go, i’ll get along. Pour that shadow over me. Kill me, show love, hold it low. Night and day when i see your face. It's so cruel to know that your light will become my shadow. And you... well you know, when i need that space it's your deeds unknown that anything you want, i'll say: Fool me, show love, hold it low. Break out, don’t go, i’ll get along. Pour that shadow over me. Kill me, show love, hold it low.

On the first full-length album under the FERN moniker, drummer Paul Seidel serves his dark poetry with deceptively catchy tunes and chunky grooves you can step to. Balancing between the emotional experimental pop music of Björk and the punishing industrial rock of Nine Inch Nails,

FERN explores the fast-changing nature of reality in our digital society through a filter of moody synths, painfully precise drumming, and a fearless vocal delivery.
