something has descended. or risen. a blackness of the soul.
the light of her eyes falls on you and you recognise.

this is my shadow. this is what i yearn to meld with, not conquer. half-imagined dark things and a thousand counter-currents; this is what i utterly am and have been for all those aeons that i wandered in search of the essence. too much light creates a longing for night and night changes many thoughts.
