the sly fox sits in wait watching the hairy, gnawing wolves who’ r whinging, whining moaning of the grizzly days of old hear them howl (a-woo!) oh when we were pups only the strong would survive when we were pups only the strong would survive well in our day a wolf could rip and chew the tender mouthfuls of the weak now you have to be polite and nibble scraps that lie among the meek so we will be the fox sneakily lying with these wolves oh our hearts bleeding with woodland folk regardless of their fur yes they may howl (a-woo!) but we will sit patiently and wait for the tide we will sit patiently and wait for the tide oh when the moon is half asleep no moments will be lost by looking back this forest needs us now to take a stand to be the leaders of the pack so here we are among the wolves barking louder (the fearless fox among the wolves) not drawing our claws just hoping our calls can get us closer (the hopeful fox among the wolves) oh fighting our cause means we don't jump to claws we sit patiently on the side-lines no changing the minds of the leaders takes time so we'll plot out the map in the meantime can't undo the hurt but we'll put in the work to make certain this won't continue we'll push through the pack and be sure to fight back we're the fox among wolves (a-woooo!)
