About Graves Hollow

Graves Hollow is a Portland, Oregon-based metal band formed in 2016 by Mike Spies (vocals, guitar) and Todd Billick (vocals, bass). Known for their aggressive and dynamic sound, the duo blends elements of thrash, death, and black metal to create a style that’s both raw and thought-provoking.

Graves Hollow’s music explores themes of the macabre, social and ecological injustices, and humanity's impending extinction. Their singles, including "The Thaw" and "Apocalyptic Regeneration," reflect these dark yet urgent themes, earning them a reputation for pairing crushing riffs with socially conscious lyrics.

In 2022, the band released their debut EP, "Before the Aftermath," recorded at Mental Misfire Studios. The EP showcases their signature sound while delivering a stark warning about ecological catastrophe and the need for change.

With a mission to create powerful music that resonates deeply and inspires action, Graves Hollow stands out as one of Portland's most exciting up-and-coming metal acts.
