We’d wait at the roadside then roll into town The mill was for drinking, no work to be found, If the mill wasn’t taking we’d head underground Imbibe in the wastelands and the rubble around A year and more passed with barely a word Our reason was just, just from what I’d heard When you left did you find peace or take turmoil with you? Did you get to feel freedom before your last breath? Our youth wasn’t folly, Our joy it was real The nights we’d spend wasting were never in vain, I know if I could I would do it again, Thank you for showing me love!

‘I Know How To Die’ seeks to find solace, beauty and magic between chaos and tragedy. Harmonium driven drones and melodies combine with pastoral singing to create its distinctive brand of poetic, dark folk. Meditative drums weave with moments of flute, bells, strings and guitars to take you from moors, woodlands, taverns and ancient battlefields.

This is music that is emotionally honest, a way to process and engage with trauma and find healing. There is a wanting for peace but knowing it won’t come without action, harkening to revolutionaries throughout time, from the revolters of the Middle Ages, to the PAL action activists of today as well as the reckoning of self.
