Greet
Their eye as fair as the bluebell That does so heartily greet the new Spring A song as sweet as a blackbird And gentle as the breeze A solace ‘tween the hedgerows My limbs are wrapped and bound unto thee While the worlds winds are howling A sun will always dawn Come in, come in, make well with me Let’s dance while the sun is shining Come in, come in, we’ll drink again Let us dance while the sun it is shining When the night does fall The joyous demons begin to cry With worries I need not reminding We share with the light of the constant fair moon When I’m done let me lie with thee Plant a tree as my headstone and bear it no name So my spirit lies truly with the stone and the rock With the moss covered branch and leaf A home now for the songbird Fell wood to fuel the fire Fruit for upon the table A shade which to retire

‘I Know How To Die’ seeks to find solace, beauty and magic between chaos and tragedy. Harmonium driven drones and melodies combine with pastoral singing to create its distinctive brand of poetic, dark folk. Meditative drums weave with moments of flute, bells, strings and guitars to take you from moors, woodlands, taverns and ancient battlefields.

This is music that is emotionally honest, a way to process and engage with trauma and find healing. There is a wanting for peace but knowing it won’t come without action, harkening to revolutionaries throughout time, from the revolters of the Middle Ages, to the PAL action activists of today as well as the reckoning of self.
