Imipolex

Founded in 2017 by Jus and Nyssa (Lepra) in Portland, Maine.
In 2019 the duo released their debut album, The Order of the Epimethean Flame. This album draws on a range of genres (atmospheric black metal and funeral doom) to advance a plot about death, rebirth, and refusal of the divine. It is an embryonic representation of what Imipolex will become.

In 2023, Imipolex began preparing to record the material they have been performing since the pandemic. A single titled, "Consecrated Silver" was released in the fall of that year to show off this new incarnation Imipolex. This is the first release featuring guitarists Ryan and John.

Imipolex is currently recording their forthcoming album and exploring options for its release.
