Into the Nebulous Black

Pale reflection Draining sempiternal eyes Caught in forever gaze With mirrors of the mind Wave destroys wave Corroding stone and shore Nebulous ocean black Swallows forevermore A glance upon the gallows The whispers of a friend Side by side with death eternal To silence the lament A feast for thought and calm of mind The whispers of the wind A tomb of ice and granite carved That our slumber might begin A soul chained down And hope I do forgo For all my eternity owed To the elders below
