Reflection Field (Simon McCorry)

In 2020-2022, when I recorded the ATOLLS album, I started with layers of upright bass, electronics and tapes, alone in my studio. Afterwards, I gave these tracks to musicians whose work I loved and whom I trusted. I told them: "Please improvise whatever you feel to my Music. That will be the exact right thing - all it needs for beauty."

It was the biggest pleasure, to witness a beautiful stream of musical landscapes and meditations grow from this simple impulse. The process apparently formed the album ATOLLS: A wholeness that transcended its singular pieces.

Somewhen along the way of finishing the album, I asked myself "Why stop exploring here?" I was curious what other musicians would do with our final recordings... I handed the finished tracks of TINY OBJECTS to a variety of great musicians: "Just take this and do what you feel you should do with it."

The result is in your hands - an exciting album of immersive ambient, wild electro-punk, vibrating drum & bass Music and so much more! A surprising wholeness born from the spirited minds of blessed creative people.

We are part of a bigger unity. We start feeling it, the moment we open our hearts and souls to listen truthfully.
