Moving Ever Closer Towards the Light

I am moving ever closer to the point of no return, my broken body and exhausted soul ache in harmony for the sweet release of an eternity of sleep; a slumber of perfect infinite peace. I yearn to rest my head upon a pillow of dirt in a bed of earth beneath a granite headboard underneath a starlit Scottish sky. Why do I wish to die with so much life left to live? With so much love in my heart to give? Why do I wish to die? Why do I, why do I wish to die? Mourn not my passing but the agony I’m living in, celebrate my death for it will release me from my pain, cry no tears of sorrow weep only tears of joy for my suffering will be over soon, peace at last, rejoice!
