Synfang has spent his time as a producer moving across electro house, techno and drum & bass, often bringing a cinematic, almost orchestral feel into the mix rather than sticking to a single lane. That range shows up again on "Alive Tonight," a two track single that leans into big, driving electrohouse while still carrying some of that widescreen quality his sound tends to reach for.
This time around, the track brings in a vocal feature from Emy Smith, who handled the vocals and lyrics. It's a shift from the mostly instrumental world Synfang usually works in, and it gives "Alive Tonight" a different center of gravity. The production still does the heavy lifting, with layered synths and a build that feels engineered for a club system, but the vocal line adds a focal point that pulls the track somewhere more personal.
