Early Sunsets Over Glasgow is a seven-track charity compilation bringing together independent artists in support of suicide prevention and the independent radio that gave them a platform. Born from the Untidy Radio show of the same name, an electronic show hosted and curated by North Lanarkshire musician Jude Kerr, it is a celebration of the show and of the independent music scene it was built around.

Conceived by Jude in March 2026 and kept secret for months since, the compilation began when he took the idea to Untidy Radio founder Mark James, who entrusted him with full creative control over how it would be shaped and structured. That freedom allowed Jude to build a release made up entirely of unreleased and exclusive music.

Two of the tracks come directly from the show's first season. "dub03" by the perambulator, a dub techno piece heard only on the very first episode (Season 1, Episode 1, 21/11/2025), is released for the first time a year on. "Whidbey #4" by Honeykill FM, an ambient piece from Denver, Colorado, was first played on The Community Episode (Season 1, Episode 3, 14/12/2025), an episode made up entirely of listener submissions rather than curated selections. Alongside them are brand new, original tracks written for this release by Voidscan, fennelflowers, oliver's bedroom music, Imrryr and Jude Kerr.

All revenue from the compilation is split equally between two causes. Half supports Chris's House (Centre for Help Response & Intervention Surrounding Suicide), a Wishaw-based charity working in suicide prevention. The other half supports Untidy Radio, the independent, ad-free station run by English musician Mark James, which gives a home to musicians across all scenes.

Early Sunsets Over Glasgow is a testament to the generosity of independent artists and the community around them, and to what a small station and a few people can do for each other. Because no one should have to face it alone.
