How many deceased? We could not save them all We only saved ourselves Do we fight for others selflessly? Or to avenge our own Hell? We thought we won the war Trillion lives remain at stake We’ll try to save them all Whatever it takes The Vampires of Vulcan Victims of upheaval Will we find salvation? Or deliver our own evil? Our squad is en route to aid a forgotten people betrayed Abandoned by modernity Immune to the passage of time Cursed to fight for eternity Are we not the same? My love, how far we have flown From burning skies to ancient seas I fear we have taken for granted The unseen consequence of technology The illusion falters Revealing the truth We were never truly free It all hinges on a truce The illusion falters There is no certainty We know what happens next What is our destiny? We thought we won the war Trillion lives remain at stake We’ll try to save them all Whatever it takes The Vampires of Vulcan Victims of upheaval Will we find salvation? Or deliver our own evil? Our squad is en route to aid a forgotten people betrayed Abandoned by modernity Immune to the passage of time Cursed to fight for eternity Synthia: Whoa… there it is… Vulcan… Althaea: Wow, it’s beautiful. Ancient terraforming looks so much better than what we currently use! Synthia: Agreed. Scanning the host star now. Althaea: Oh, good idea! It doesn’t make sense for it to be expanding rapidly already. Synthia: You’re right. None of this data makes sense… Oh no. It can’t be… Althaea: What is it? Synthia: This star is at least another few million humanoidian years from going nova. Whatever is causing it to expand is deliberate. Althaea, someone is doing this on purpose. Althaea: What? But who would do such a thing? And why? Synthia: I have no idea… the amount of power that would take is unfathomable. No entities I know of are even capable except— *gasp* Althaea + Synthia: The Angels of Aldebaran. Ship Intercom: Landing gear deployed The illusion falters There is no certainty We know what happens next What is our destiny? We thought we won the war Trillion lives remain at stake We’ll try to save them all Whatever it takes The Vampires of Vulcan Victims of upheaval Will we find salvation? Or deliver our own evil? Cursed to fight for eternity!

"One journey ends, another begins..."

The galaxy is in shambles.

Despite the authoritarian rule of the vile Authority meeting an explosive and definitive end, peace and cooperation among the trillions of survivors remains elusive and hard-fought. Millions of separate factions all vie for power in an attempt to carve out their own quadrant in the stars.

A tenuous and delicate truce, set it motion by the extraordinarily powerful Angels of Aldebaran, is the only thing keeping this cold war from turning blazing hot at the blink of an eye. And all the while, the Angels themselves have been discretely consolidating their power.

Meanwhile, Althaea and Synthia, two rogue pilots and lovers who lead the charge in the Stellar Showdown that brought the Authority's regime to end, have been exploring across the cosmos in search of those who need help as their worlds collapse around them. With the assistance of Pleiades Squad, a small faction of rebellious fighters who bear the names of the Seven Sisters, they've done all they can to keep the violence at bay.

However, it is becoming increasingly clear that their efforts may ultimately be in vain, and as the two of them set out to explore the ruins of an ancient seedship, they are about to uncover a plot that will ultimately decide the fate of trillions and challenge the status quo of all that there is...

They are about to uncover... "The Vampires of Vulcan"!

A direct sequel album to 2024's "The Estrogenesis Initiative", this new album, that consists of one part audio drama and two parts crushing progressive metal, continues the story of the galaxy's most powerful couple, Althaea and Synthia, as the two women embark on another journey that will put them through their most arduous test yet. Likewise, this album is a culmination of everything I have learned since my debut release and I am extremely proud of the final result. The mix is clearer, the songwriting is far more ambitious, and the story I'm committed to telling is going places I had only once dreamed possible. Thank you for joining me on this adventure.

"Strap in
We're goin' for a ride"

This album is also a sequel to my debut novel, "Undead Flowers", which tells the story of how Violet came to be a vampire long before humanity took to the stars. Those who have read the book will certainly notice more than a few details that have carried over, and I am currently writing two sequels which will bridge the gap into where she and her wives are now.
