Reward in heaven, torment on Earth, Ancient texts justify your abuse. Your own god's name, taken in vain, With every life you cleave apart. Twisting minds toward hatred And disgust of one's own flesh. Obsessions turn towards purity But you can never be scrubbed clean. Your god won't forgive you, From pages statue-still. Your god can't forgive you, So pray your victims will. Fear of flame, buried deep, Unearthed to keep you in line. Obedience, weaponized, Sentence the next in your holy line. Every bone fragment embedded in your bloodied gums, Every grand accusation you summon to bury your own crimes speaks of your abuse. Eternal life for the believers, Unending punishment for the unclean. A thousand lies, one truth: The one you worship has always despised you. If God made us, if he truly knows who we are, Then he made us to be destroyed. If God made us to be destroyed, Then let us blaspheme until our dying breaths.
