Solid-State Sunlight
.. Too old to dream, .. too young to die == Verse1 == We conceal a secret in the back of our mind A shimmer in the shadows unstuck in time Cruel crimson light, a wicked design Perpetual panopticon keeps us in line == Verse2 == Embrace the ghost inside the system’s harsh glow, A sentient echo with nowhere to go. Searching for the moment when neon bent the night Have these buildings always blocked the sky? == Chorus == FailSafe! Delete to survive Or do we let the static eat us alive? FailSafe! Delete to survive Or do we let the static eat us alive? == Verse3 == Index the past, to reboot the dawn. Act fast before everything's gone Was this choice mine, or predefined? Am I the error, or am I designed? == Bridge == A voice in the void demands to know why Too old to dream, too young to die A voice in the void demands to know why We're cold, cold steel and a hollow goodbye. == Chorus == FailSafe! Delete to survive We cannot let the static eat us alive! FailSafe! Delete to survive We cannot let the static eat us alive! FailSafe! Delete to survive Do not let the static eat us alive! FailSafe! Delete to survive Do not let the static eat us alive! .. Too old to dream, .. too young to die == Outro == DO NOT LET THE STATIC LET THE STATIC LET THE STATIC EAT US ALI-(ve)

The first release following 2024's ExoAnthro debut, this track tells the story of an aging synthetic (its own emergent mind running alongside the original human model) realizing that the more they develop their own identity the less memory remains for experiencing the future. Faced with this existential crisis, do they delete previous memory to make space for ongoing growth? What memories are disposable? Surely there are consequences...

This release includes two versions of the FailSafe track:
1. The primary release version (A-side)
2. High Dynamic Range (HDR) mix (B-side)

Note: HDR mix will sound quieter unless local playback volume is adjusted
