To whom it may concern:
4ever is a collection of songs inspired by my own internal turmoil around the current political landscape and where I fit in. In January, after being constantly inundated with every "hot take" and "opinion piece" on transgender identities for years, I realized that I could no longer run from myself. The ten tracks on this album are a crossroads between the joy and angst of our times.
Our community of queer folk and all oppressed people are currently in great pain and fear from the actions of the worst of the worst. One thing remains true:
The sickening hatred that persists in the hearts of weak men is fundamentally brittle and temporary. Those of us who choose to live as our authentic selves, however, will live on in our ideas, our art, and our love.
We live 4ever.
