About Sugartooth
Sugartooth originally materialized in Los Angeles in the midst of the early nineties. Marc and Josh along with Tim Gruse (guitar) and Joey Castillo (drums), formed the group after meeting each other in the Los Angeles music scene while playing in separate groups. Sugartooth quickly signed a contract with Geffen Records, and the band's self-titled debut was released in 1994. Grinding it out in the local scene, they unveiled their self-titled full-length debut, Sugartooth, in 1994. “Sold My Fortune” famously popped up in an episode of MTV’s Beavis and Butthead, while the guys shared the stage with everyone from Soundgarden, Bad Brains, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine, Slayer and more.
Marc and Josh along with the Dust Brothers notably contributed fan favorite “Tortured Man” to Howard Stern’s blockbuster Private Parts and its accompanying Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
