Sunscorched was formed in 2025 out of the arid heat that is the Arizona black metal scene. From the onset, the goal of the project was to capture the essence and feel of the SouthWest in all it’s brutality, beauty, desolation, and rich history through the medium of black metal. Their first release was a demo version of the song ‘Vultures that Circle My Grave’ which was released in November of 2025. In June of 2026, Sunscorched announced the relase of their debut album ‘Blood of the Badlands’ available August 28th, 2026 via Bolverk Records.
