Hook & Thread

Originally released on cassette for Abhorrent A. D. in February of 2024. All sounds on this release were generated by the movement of a crochet hook and yarn. Side A uses a small metal hook with another contact mic attached to my left hand to capture the movement of the yarn across it. Side B utilizes a large wooden hook and the "yarn" is sourced from recycled plastic bags cut into strips. The contact mic arrangement is the same for both sides.
